GLOBAL SITUATION OVERVIEW
The Pohnpei State Department of Health and Social Services and Governor’s COVID-19 Task Force are closely monitoring the COVID-19 outbreak that was first detected in December 2019 in Wuhan City, Hubei Province of the People's Republic of China (PRC). Since its detection in PRC, COVID-19 cases have spread globally and on March 11, 2020 WHO characterized the COVID-19 outbreak as a pandemic.
